If you are wondering what this is all about... I well fell in love with the quote and the monkey too :D :D And yes I am tagged again and yes again by Vinay Isn't that the coolest thing?

So here it goes.....

What have you realized recently?

Free will is a myth like all the other ideals.

Have you given your first kiss away?

How can one give a kiss 'away'?? *derisive* The first kiss 'with a guy' well was amazing.. he kissed the inside of my palm.. yeah romantic.. and yeah the relation is long gone... if that is what it means...

If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, who are the 11 blog buddies you would take?

Now thats a tough one :( I can surely say.. I will take Neeru along. Nancy too.. but she has kids would want them to suffer.. Anoop.. karthik :-) Floey! Ishy! Vishal for sure!! along with his guitar!! 4 more to go... Vinay :-) .. erm rest anyone who would love to tag along

Where is the place you want to go the most?

Now this is a toughie! :( I want to visit so many places!! Havent been anywhere yet! *sigh* Still if I have to choose one place... it will be Ireland. I don't know why.. but I am attracted to anything Celtic a lot!

If you have one dream to come true, what would it be?

That all my dreams come true * I am greedy yeah!!* Okay.. seriously? That I get a kind of guy I dream for.. that would be enough for me :-) after all life is long.. and company is important

Do you believe in seeing the rainbow after the rain?

What is not to believe? It is the truth!

What are you afraid of losing the most now?

Nothing actually. If there is one thing I have learned in life it is that.. things are not in my control... worrying about them is not gonna stop it from happening if it has to happen.

If you win $1 million, what would you do?

Invest part of it and spend the rest :-)

If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?

Honestly? No. Though I would love to :-)

List out 3 good points about the person who tagged you

Now this is easy ! :-)

--------> Amazing person
--------> Awesome poet
--------> Optimist.

What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?

Cant write in one line ofcourse! Have a blog post about it here

What type of people do you hate the most?

Hate is too strong an emotion to waste on people I don't like!

What is the one thing you can't live without?

I find this question spurious actually.. and still if I have to answer.. it will be .. computer.. my day starts and ends with it :-)

If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?

I would rather like the fact that the mistakes are pointed out. But I wouldn't someone to rudely point it out to me. I expect that my friends do point it out. I would be put out if they don't.

15th question was missing in Vinay's tag so I am making a question myself....

If you can make one change in yours or anyone's life what would you do ?

I would like to give hope to one person and hopefully that person would give it to someone else.

Are you a shopaholic or not?

This is a trick question bah! I am not a shopper but I am known to impulsively buy stuff more than I planned to buy esp clothes....

Find a word to describe the person who tagged you

*Easy Easy!!* Chwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt!!!!

If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?

Inactivity. I have a habit of letting things take its course... well that means procrastination :D :D

What’s the last shocking thing you've seen or heard?

Erm.. too personal to state here :(

Would you rather have love but no money or money but no love?

A little bit of both :-) Enough money to never feel the lack of it and enough love to never feel unloved.. I wouldn't want too much of love or too much of money though.. that would be suffocating!

and I tag:

Anyone who wanna take it on :-)

Neeru : Neeru and me make the diva duo.:-) We write poems on same topics. we even write stories of similar topics. We inspired each other to take writing poems seriously. She is a published writer of Tamil novels which I can never read *sigh* Romantic like me.. the blog is full of that! Esp the Sylvia Path's poem.. touches my soul everytime I visit. And yeah do read her stories there :-)

One of my office colleagues, plagued by self introspection, decided to do something about his habit of procrastination. In the rush of the moment he downloaded an e-book named ' How to avoid Procrastination'. He placed it on the desktop as a reminder.

Two weeks have passed by. The e-book is yet to be opened.

The most frustrating part of having a great idea... the best thoughts to write down .. the most bloggable words strikes your mind when you actually have no time for it.. or when you can not put it down.. amazingly true no?

This thought invariably comes when you are sleeping or doing something important so that you cannot write it down.. but you dont give up.. you are determined to write it down.. so you search for paper.. ofcourse it is not accessible .. you settle for the back of your book.. then the pen.. ah now thats misplaced.. you search and search and finally you get it but guess what.. the refil is empty.. you are just about grinding your teeth and search for a pencil.. you get that readily.. but nah.. you still can't put that thought down.. for you have to search for the sharpne.. the pencils end is blunt and that.. is not easily findable....

Finally you get that too .. sharpen the pencil and write the first word.. ah guess what .. yes.. the power is cut off and its night.. you had forgotten to charge the emergency light.. and yet you don't give up.. you search for those long forgotten elusive candles... you dont find them.. nah you can't get lucky always.. so you use the lil oil lamps you actually use for diwali.. and finally when you really get to write ... no no.. you don't forget what you want to write! nothing that predictable... Murphy's law you say.. not at all.. normal course of events! God wants you to use technology... so you save it as notes on your mobile and.. for more technosavvy.. you mobiblog/email yourself...

And if the mobile is low on battery... then well you are a moron! how careless can you get ? :P :P ;) ;)

"I want to reach the stars", said a wee little girl of 10. With pig tails and ribbons, a frock with floral print. She was sitting on the park bench making sure that her clothes didn't get dirty. With her was a girl who can be at best called a grubby. Sara...., with one side of the hair open and other held loosely with a rubber band that was about to fall off. Ribbons already lost. She was sitting in the ground playing with the grass.

"I really do. I wanna be on the top" said Rhea.

"But what will you do when you reach there?" Sara asked.
"Enjoy!"
"But can't you do that right now? Why do you need to reach the stars for that?"

Exasperatedly, Rhea left. Sara, who understood everything about her. Her best friend. Somehow couldn't understand this drive in her. They were neighbors since birth and friends since they were 2. They took their first step together. Went to the same school and yet somehow they were as different as chalk and cheese. That dint stop their friendship from growing..

Rhea wished though, that someone understood her ambition. No one did, neither her parents nor Sara.

They were sitting in the park commiserating her loss. A race. Both had participated. Both lost. They could have won but lost, thats the saddest part of it.
Sara knew how much winning meant to Rhea. She wantonly fell down so that Rhea could over come her. And it worked. Only Rhea fell just before the finish line. The whole stadium gave her standing ovation, and yet.. it was not enough for Rhea. How Sara wished Rhea could let go..

The honk from the back reminded Sara of where she was.. in front of the park.. soon she moved her car in the side letting the other car go.. She was thinking of Rhea. Her childhood best friend. She wished they could be friends now. Rhea still lived with her family , she had married few years back, near her house. She was an assistant D.A in this area. not the future she had envisioned, but she was a lawyer to be reckoned with.

Nothing ever came easy to her ever. Sara understood her ambition but had nothing to help her with. She let go all her opportunities that Rhea could win, but she never did.. like that race.. Sara had gone from stars to stars.. if one can say so.. One of the lawyers from the topmost firm, a dashing beau straight from the hunk magazine.. literally. Roger was a model turned lawyer. Modelling was a means of paying the bills but that made him darling of the press and so.. her too.. She had everything Rhea wished for..promising career and run of the mill romance..

And the irony was Rhea had everything that she wished for... No.. she won't go there.. it was just too hard to think.. she was not yet ready to deal with her loss.. So Sara started her car towards home... Wishing she could make amends with Rhea....

*************
"That Damn bitch is coming here.. to tout her success! I can't stand it" Rhea muttered.

"Stop it honey! you have been raving about it since you heard about it .. its been a week.. atleast dont think of it while we are you know.. " he said as he nuzzled her ears.

She forgot all about it in the willing hand of Peter.. her husband.. The only thing she thanked about in all her life... his wry humor, his acceptance of her ambition.. and infact the same fire burnt in him.. made him more desireable. He knew Sara. Wasn't really friends with her ofcourse.. but they were in college together.. come to think of it.. she didn't know him in college too... he was a recluse..

" What do you know how it galls me! I am as good as her.. and yet why does god does this to me" she continued in morning as she buttered his toast. As if they never took a break while conversing..

"Come on. You wouldn't have met me.. you know.. if you got them fancy job.. besides you wouldnt have time for kids.." he said good humoredly

"Bull crap! I could have still made it big and taken care of our kids... "

"You cannot. Why do you think I plied you with 2 pregnancy as soon as we got married. I know how to keep you with me" he whispered in her ears as he got ready for their goodbye kiss. He left early. She followed after she left the kids school. he came early from work and picked the kids from school.

He was working as an solicitor for top investment firm. He was on his way to become a top notch corporate lawyer. Playing high balled poker.. in his words.. was his forte .

"You asshole" she said with frustration but his impish smile told her he was joking.
"Honey, don't think too much. You are one the way of becoming youngest D.A, soon you can get into politics."

She was warmed. Somehow she knew she can even do that, as long as he was with her. She thanked her stars again. Today evening she decided to visit Sara. Be done with it. Then she can forget that Sara ever existed.
*********
It was a strained meeting, to put it mildly. Both didn't know what to tell. It was just too hard.

To break the silence Rhea asked, " So how long do you plan to stay ?"

"I have not decided yet."

"How did they let their hotshot lawyer leave in such a bisy season", she couldn't let her frustration seep through.
" They didn't have a choice. I quit" Sara said quietly.
"You what ???? How can..." She was about to get into her usual mode. but she saw the unshed tears in her eyes and stopped.

"I think ?I should let you rest now. You must be tired." Rhea said gently.

Patience. it was a new trait in Rhea. Sara saw that Rhea had changed. A lot. For better.. Marriage becomed her. and she said as much to her..

"Peter would love that" rhea said laughingly. " Actually.. he becomes me." she radiantly continued...

A sharp rage of envy shafted through Sara. She wondered .. is that what Rhea faced all her life?

Few days passed. They next met at the super market. Or rather Rhea saw Sara staring at nothingness. Concernedly she approached her. She could see the tears streaming through her eyes. Rhea wanted to comfort Sara. However, she was afraid to approach into her private grief somehow. But she had no choice..

Sara fainted then and there. Rhea took her home.. over a cuo of hot chocolate they started talking...

" You have to take care of yourself. You are anemic. Dont you get time to eat or what ? What about you hotshot guy.. has no time for you ? "

Sara didn't know what to say. Its been ages anyone dared to talk down to her.. even her parents were quiet behind polite silence.... And Roger.. well he was sweet and concerned. He tried to be there... but she needed a woman not a man by her side.. and she realized she had no friends to turn to.. no one after Rhea... She had spoiled her for friends.. for she never needed anyone else...

Looking at her pensive profile Rhea felt like an idiot. She said," I am sorry, it was very presemptous of me.. not for what I said.. but for the way I said.. .." She kept quiet when she received no response.

Some moments passed by.. Sara said, "I liked it rhi.. no one ever does that anymore..." softly...

They looked into each other for sometime.. as tears streamed down their eyes... all the guilt.. the anger .. seeped out.. Sara ran away.. Rhea didn't stop her..

That night, long after Peter slept.. Rhea stayed awake.. looking into past.. and thinking about Sara.. it seemed stupid to keep the grudge about something that wasn't her fault.. besides she was hurting.. She decided to talk to her ..

The next time came soon enough... at her mom's house. Sara had come with her family.. but Roger was pointstakingly absent. No one commented ofcourse...

Rhea invited Sara for shopping that weekend. She said she had to do it.. Peter was busy and well handling kids was not one person's job.. and well if Sara was free... she didn't realize how she was hurting Sara.. until she ran off... Rhea followed her to her room and hugged crying Sara..

Between sobs the whole story tumbled out.. Sara's lost child.. the pain...... everything...

After a long time Sara said.. " Funny isnt it ? You got all I ever wanted and I all you ever wanted and yet you are happy in your life and I am not ?"

Rhea had nothing to say. She just hugged her.

"I hope we can be friends now Sara. There was never anyone else.. you were too good a friend and others paled in comparison"

"I hope so too. I never had anyone else either" Sara smiled.

That night, Rhea went out for a walk through the park.. at the same spot as Sara remembering the same memory.... of reaching for the sky.. She realized that up in the top.. its a lonely ride.. and she was happy with her nest.. a loving husband beautiful kids and a satisfying career.. For the first time she felt lucky.. She hugged herself and whispered Thank you god! for everything!

****************

As days passed by, Sara started to heal. Especially, under Rhea's care. There was so much to share so much love cooped up. She discovered Peter and liked his humor and his love for Rhea shone in his eyes.. If she was wistful.. there was even hope that it could still be hers..

And then when Roger phoned her after a month to ask her how she was.. She was more than willing to talk.. to meet him...

Soon enough they were laughing together.. and these two pairs started hanging around...

Sara had decided to start up her own firm.. nothing high profile.. but her reputation preceded her and she soon had a thriving practice.. soon enough Roger joined it .. it soon became a family business when they tied the knot together....

The icing in the cake was when Rhea became The D.A for their town...

It was not long for Rhea's youngest and Sara's first to play in the same park as their mom.. while the satisfied mothers talking into the night.. the tales never ended :-)

It is such am amazing fact that people who have less tend to be more generous than people who have more.. besides... its the children who actually listen to what you say.. in a way that adult fail to do..

I know not how I happened to be with her... .. a girl whose name I dont recall.. Funny isnt it ? And yet she always remembered me as 'Meena Tai'.. always.. since that first meet.

We were going to a picnic . She was a daughter of a peon who came with us.. she tagged along too.. in group of college goers.. she ofcourse didn't fit.. the fact tht she knew nothing but marathi.. didnt help at all.. we came together and stuck together whole of the picnic and the saga continued... on fridays she would come asking for meena tai :-)

We had a swell time together.. I like being with kids and she was just about that.. in 4th std.. Funnily of all my friends.. me even.. she was the only one who cried when I left.. and her dad for some reason had adopted me as second daughter I guess... I never had to stand in a line ever.. as long as he was around .. always a pleasant smile and a sweet question about my health.. studies... always a pleasant reminder that someone cares.. and in response they never asked for anything.. Just my time and my care..

So when it was ganesh chaturti, she came and stubbornly asked me to visit her place. I went.. I was treated like royalty.. given the best pieces of sweets and other pakwaans..

All through the way back I wondered about their simple heart.. I wish i had such simplicity really.. I am at loss at words.. when it comes to describe that....

And then our Maushi... She washed our clothes, dried it and then folded and brought it to our room.. all for Rs 50 per month. Too cheap isnt it ?

And she had 3 kids to feed. Her husband had abondoned her left her stranded with a burden she was too young to carry.. with no education.. she had nothing better to look forward to..

And yet come ganpati, she invited around 25 of us to visit her place.. gave us soemthing eat and drink. It would have cost her a lot.. even loss of food for few days I guess... but we couldn't say no.. Hell she didn't even have a floor.. she used dried cowdung.. She lived in a hut.. but more so.. it was home.. for me atleast.. for there existed love :-)

Somehow, today I visited the yahoo group of our college.. when I saw that peon I just had to remember the sweet lil girl and my beloved maushi :-)

May someone show kindness on them the way they showed it on few homesick students

And then ofcourse there was the receptionist at our canteen, she became mor eof a friend to us.. someone to share gosssip with.. to talk the heart out ... Kindness exists in this world and therefore the world exists. If someone thinks world is harsh.. may be they are not looking at the right kind of people
Winnie the poohi
P.S: This is loosely based on real life experience. Not the whole story ofcourse.

A platform is a wondereful setting for stories. esp fast paced short stories. So many characters so many experiences to tap to enhance and may be to preserve. A couple in the corner whispering to each other shyly holding hands... Or may be the hawkers selling goods.. or that lady with a book reading unaware of the surrounding. Two people arguing about something they will soon forget.. as soon as the train comes. Virar local.. from Churchgate to Virar. Jam packed from the start.....

And then there are stories about the dark side of the world... prostitutes.. perverts.. abuse.. theives.. these elements forever spice many a stories.. some of them are real too not just stories... each one of us know about it.. don't we all.. but we think such things happen to other people.. not us.. we are smart..and we are careful..

Don't we wear long sleeves.. we only travel in Ladies compartment even if we would love to travel with 'him' just few minutes more.. but we don't... it is not safe we know.. we don't even travel late in the night.. we are smart.. esp the cocky teen age girls.. just because they wear pants.. wear goggles and carry money they think they own the world..

What they hold is their daddy's sweat and their mommies unrequited long nights.. ofcourse they don't know.. their parents would be horrified if they did.. until ofcourse its too late.. then they wished thay had taught more caution..

I was thinking about these ppl.. here I was.. on the railway bridge..waiting for someone... unsuspecting victim.. only I didnt call them that.. I called them students.. in the classroom of life.. only I was the teacher... the best kind... for my students might forget me.. but not my lesson.. ah there she comes... my potential victim.. open honest eyes.. smiling at strangers with impish smile.. as if she holds the key to the world.. if only she knew...

For a moment my heart lurched.. am I doing the right thing ? I have a girl too.. only for a moment.. when fresh meat approaches you.. well.. no justifications.. you want sugar coated lies.. you better don't read through this..

So there she was carrying a luggage.. probably a out of towner.. too good to be true.. I see that she is raring to break from her monotony.. such ppl are wild.. and easy to let go too.. for they always look forward to the next thing... I approached her by asking an address.. ah they always are so helpful.. stupid girls.. didnt their mom ever admonish them.. 'Don't talk to the strangers..'.. but ofcourse they dont listen..

"Excuse me.. Where is the Wellingkar college? "

"The Management college?"

"Yes! We are taking a campus interview there.. I have lost the way.. Can you direct me to it ?"

"But ofcourse! Its very near from here.. Get down the stairs. Catch a taxi.. will cost you around 14 bucks.. lowest meter." she didn't want him to be cheated.

"Oh thank you very much. You have been really kind. So what do you do ?"

She told him she was in engineering.. hoping for a campus. Why dont they visit her college? What kind of people are they looking for.. She was intelligent.. and yet naive. Didnt she see? How she has given so much information to a stranger ? Noy my responsibility ofcourse... I lived for such people!

"Listen. I would love to come to your college. but frankly I need more information.. Can you spare sometime? May be you accompany me in the Taxi ride and on the way you can tell me all about your college. Then may be we can decide when to come and all"

I could see the greed in her eyes. She would be popular and all..She agreed ofcourse..
She kept on talking all through the ride.. She took his bullshit story hook line and sinker. God she is too easy!

On the way he said .. why don't we continue this in a coffee shop? She hesitated a little. She was about to say no.. but the coffee shop was crowded and near the station.. she agreed..

Soon enough he turned the conversation to personal topics. Does she have a boyfriend? How many siblings? What about her parents? what did they do? he said he needs to know background to get her a job.. she was more than ready to reveal...

Once the coffee was finished, he said he has work in the university..

"Would you like to come ? Frankly, I am hoping we can be friends.. now that I have to convince my company to hire people from your college I would need all the help I can get. I was hoping you could be the spokesperson for your college"

It was the chance for her to refuse. She scented the opportunity and like the mouse she is.. she didn't detect the trap.. He knew he had her where he wanted her to be.. or was it?

It was a long journey.. As we were talking seemingly innocently, I placed my hand on her shoulder. I felt her stiffen. but my conversation lulled her. I was talking about things that she wanted to know about.. places I visited.. things I have done.. about my family.. innane and harmless small talk..

She thought may be that the 'cool' people wouldn't mind after all its just a friendly hand ofcourse. She didn't object.

But when the hands fell on her thighs she knew something was wrong. She removed it and asked..

"Where exactly are we heading?"
"I already told you. Towards friendship.. good friendship" I replied.

She didn't say anything for sometime. I didnt say anything either. It has to be from her side. She had even given me her college telephone! When I didnt even reveal my name. And she never asked about my company!

Soon we reached Kalina. For people who don't know about it. Its a vast stretch of nearly forest *read wasteland* near the airport.. Where the sprawling campus of Mumbai university is situated. One of the deserted place in mumbai where it is virtually not possible. I spelt out my terms ofcourse vaguely. She didn't agree to it nor disagree to it. Seemed like she was scared. I had to make her trust me first. else It was not possible. My plan I mean. I just can't take chances.. I had a reputation to protect.

So we talked. I had no business ofcourse. I pretended that I had.. was factitious about it. Did she realize? I was bowled over. She was taking it so cooly. For a moment I thought she was a professional you know.. con... but I was on prowl for years now.. she didnt seem so.. but then we never know.. I needed time to go over what we talked about... I suggested that we go to Thane where we had work anyways and she could get train for her college. Would save her time and money.. Frankly.. I expected her to come out with her plan or refuse me and say that she would go on her own.. She did neither..

I thought I had the catch finally... We went to this exclusive hotel.. The waiters knew about me and my well hobbies... If they found her too young too bad.. 20 year old is not that old anyways.. she was not a teenager legally not a minor..

During the meal I came on to her decisively. She was about to leave. We had to have an agreement. I stressed on privacy and about friendship again and again. I might call her in her college but she shouldn't tell anyone.. You know the whole deal.. She didn't say anything.. just smiled embarassedly. I asked her why.. she said she has never had such a weird day.. my heart went to her.. poor girl. I will be gentle with her and slow.. initially atleast.. i promised myself...

I asked her not to worry and to trust me.. soon enough she will be working for me.. that brightened her smile.. encouraged I held her hand.. carassed it.

She shyly withdrew. I liked that. She was innocent. A professional would have let me.. it was just a hand she would have thought..

I asked her leave to go to the rest room. I had something to take care of...

When I went out she had already had her coffee and all set to leave.. I didnt argue.

When I hired the taxi, she said she had to go... she had a cousin living near by and wanted to drop by now that she is here. I freaked out. She was refering to the complex I lived in.. I bolted.. would be an understatement.

On the Thane station, when I checked my wallet, it was empty. My cash My credit card all gone. I called up the credit card company to block the card. I was still late. The card was in overdraft. Someone had just brought a most expensive set of earings and a diamond bracelet. Cine Wonder was just too nearby.

I didn't report theft. I never called even. I was checkmated. Innocent teenage girl ? My foot! I had got a life lesson indeed. Not all parents go wrong with their kids. Some get it right.

I was blog hopping today.. went through few blogs that I had not visited before.. My usual habit..

I find it so touching that well we never know how people affect us.. we say words only hold 5% of our communications and yet.. that 5% is so effective that we forge friendships that go beyond the usual norms.. more intimate and has less expectations...

Our expectations are only to that green point in gtalk or that new post in the blog.. and yet we share our life together.... touch each other..

Though this warms my soul.. I cannot help but feel that cold shiver up my spine...

Phew! I am not able to explain my feelings .. but I am very pensive right now..
Winnie the poohi
P.S: This is not my story.. One of my friend read this story here And he gave a bunch of us a challenge to spice it up.. here is my take :-)

It was such an amazing evening.. an evening for strolling by the sea face with someone special.. whispering sweet nothings and yes eating roasted groundnuts... you know.. some days that makes you feel that everything is just right.. few moments when you forget that you are having problems..

And yet Ravi was not affected by it. Sitting in a deserted cafe sipping a watered down coffee and a toast.. he wondered how the hell he is going to handle this mess he landed into.. He was not sure as in how long his savings will hold up..

But he was not overtly concerned.. his friends would come through if it was too hard to manage.. in the past he had .. for them.. But the fact that he was getting married soon was bogging him down.. Not coz he didnt like the girl.. he liked her fine... it was his own web of lies!

When he had gone to meet the girl.. his relatives as is the norm exaggerated his virtues.. and caught in the flow.. he said more lies than he had planned to.... He told them he had a car and had a salary of 31000 per month. He was not worried then.. he knew his boss will help him out.. He always did....

He couldn't believe only yesterday he thanked god for the luck that came his way..

Bubbling with the newly found happiness he accosted his boss..

"Sir I have a good news"

"Marriage finally fixed hmm ? "

"How do you....."

"I know everything" Krishna said laughing, Ravi's boss, the owner of a small time agency that took care of distribution of products for FMCG Ltd, a auto parts manufacturing company.

"It was about time too. One should marry at the right age" he continued smilingly.

"Well yeah..I had a favor to ask...if you don't mind..."

"Salary badha ke chahiye? Ab biwiw bhi aagayi hmm? Dont worry.. 7000 ho jaayega.. bas? "

"Oh thank you sir.. lekin.."

"Yes? Honey moon pe jaane chutti bhi mil jaayega.. advance salary bhi..."

"What can I say sir.. thank you so much.. no other employer will be as caring as you! I am very lucky!"

"Bas kar aur kaam pe lag ab" he said not too rudely.. he was embarassed but pleased.. Ravi knew...

He was in a dilemma now.. His boss had given him so much that it was hard to ask more.. Somehow he had not even thought about honeymoon.. but may be she would want it..

His father in law was supposed to come on Saturday... so he knew he had to approach his boss again.. but he was not sure how he could.. He cursed himself thousand times over for being so stupid..

Krishna watched Ravi for sometime now.. Something was worrying him.. He was a very concerned employer.. one who feels a happy employee means a healthy profit .. so he approached him

"Ravi beta, whats wrong ? Why are you so sad ?"

"Sir... ek problem hai.. Don't know how to ask you.."

"Kya baat hai?"

"I want a car. My father in law is visiting me on Saturday"

"Uffo! itni si baat? Take my car"

"No I want my car"

"You cant afford it. not with 5000 ki salary!"

"You buy it for me and cut is gradually over the years.. besides with the dowry my Father in law gives me.. I will give it back to you"

"Arre why do you want a burden now? With new wife and all.. buy it later na.. ab apni dulhan ko ghuma fira..."

"I have lied to my father in law and so now I need it"

"I cannot give it. I am sorry.. Jhoot kyon bola?"

"Then.. I may have to leave the job" Ravi said dispassionately knowing Krishna would buckle down..

Shocked Krishna looked at him for sometime. He wanted to rile.. ' do you have any idea what you are talking about ?' But he didn't. It was not his responsibility to teach him sense and he was angered then.. After doing so much for them.. this is what he has to come against time and again... He picked out his checkbook.. generously gave him the current months complete pay.. almost threw it on his face and said " So be it then. I expect you to leave within 1 hour"

Riding on false bravado Ravi had left with a huff.

And since then he has been lost.. not knowing what to do..

The waiter had finally asked him to go thinking... 'Kya lukkha hai.. 2 ghante se Ek cup coffee piya hai.. pata nahi kahan kahan se aajate hai'

Laughing ironically at the waiters thought.. Ravi went towards the sea shore .. one final time
